THE BEGINNING
An object that stayed.
The briefcase belonged to a teacher. He carried it every day—for work, for life, for the people around him.
It was yellow, well used, and made from faux leather. Its value came from somewhere else: the life it accompanied.
After he was gone, the briefcase remained.
WHAT IT CARRIED FORWARD
A family story, carried again.
Years later, his grandson carried the same worn briefcase while working in a leading role at a major French company. Its appearance drew questions. Its story changed how people saw it.
The family later made him a new yellow briefcase—this time in leather. The original remains carefully preserved as a memory of a father and grandfather.
BEREN TODAY
The beginning still guides the work.
BEREN grew from that idea: an object can hold more than what is placed inside it. It can carry memory, use and continuity.
